Graham Sharpe

Graham Sharpe has written some 30 books in total, mainly with a betting or horse racing theme, sometimes combining both – as with The Magnificent Seven, the story of the day on which Frankie Dettori almost left bookies bankrupt by riding all seven winners at Ascot in 1996 and taking over £40m out of the betting shop coffers.
Graham also wrote the biography of a maverick and eccentric rock star turned politician, The Man Who Was Screaming Lord Sutch; and revealed the story of the first authenticated ‘fixed’ football match, between Man U and Liverpool, in Free The Manchester United One.
