Veteran motorsport journalist Franco Nugnes searches for the truth behind the tragic death of Formula One legend Ayrton Senna. Striving to uncover the true facts, he interviews key figures from the world of Formula One – from former racing drivers, to high-profile Ferrari and McLaren employees, to Senna’s discoverer and a close confidant.
Franco Nugnes began his sports journalism career at the newspaper Il Secolo XIX, before joining the magazine Autosprint (Italy’s motorsport bible), beginning a 20-year collaboration that took him from trainee to deputy editor. Later, he helped start the weekly magazine SportAutoMoto, and was editor of the monthly Velocità. Today, he directs the Italian edition of motorsport.com, the global information network with 18 offices worldwide.
