We are delighted to open for submissions for the 2026 Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards.
Welcome to the 24th annual Sports Book Awards campaign, celebrating the best in sports writing and publishing!
Eligibility
Publication Year: Books must be first published in the UK in 2025.
Exclusions: New editions of titles shortlisted in the 2025 awards are not eligible.
Please note that for the Audiobook category, the team is specifically looking for audiobooks that were released during 2025.
Please read the criteria and eligibility information before submitting.
Titles can be entered into multiple categories.
Timing
It is anticipated that the key winning titles in each of the relevant categories will be available in a paperback format for the winners campaign from the 22nd May.
Submission Guidelines
Nominations:
Publishers are encouraged to assign one representative to manage nominations.
Categories:
The awards span a wide range of categories. This year also introduces a dedicated Sports Audiobook award and the Motorsports Book of the Year.
Multiple Entries:
You can download the submission form below to enter multiple titles for consideration manually if that is easier than using the online form.
Consent Requirement:
Ensure that authors, illustrators, and contributors have provided their consent prior to submission.

Please mail 1 copy of each submitted title to:
